Charis understands the financial and emotional struggle these unprecedented times may have on those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We're here to help!

Simply put, we don't have the luxury of waiting until a pandemic passes to offer education and positive options to those who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. As women find themselves pregnant during these less than ideal circumstances, we want them to know we are here for them. Following DHS/Government Guidelines on the COVID-19 virus (, Charis PHC remains open as an essential service. Throughout March, April and May, our advocates continued to connect with clients virtually and by phone, and curbside drop-offs and pick-ups took place for material items such as diapers, wipes and clothing – all of which are necessary to care for their babies.

We are pleased to say that since late May we resumed normal operations. Our scheduled appointments have filled rapidly with new and existing clients!

We are so blessed with a few key volunteers who keep the center running smoothly. Recently, two ladies joined the team to provide weekly cleaning services. This has freed up our advocates to meet with clients right up until closing time. These ladies ensure that the environment is sparkling clean and sanitary every week. Between their scheduled services, staff carefully sanitizes the center, providing a healthy environment for all who visit.
